Meljoann's show comes in two delectable flavours:

OPTION A: AV Show

Disturbing pop songs, hyper dance tracks, disorientating sound design, and visual projections. Dystopian power-point slides, corporate found footage. Creepy video testimonials to a new hyper-capitalist self help movement.

OPTION B: Hybrid DJ Set

Hyperjack: industrial R&B. Hybrid DJ stems set. Improvised continuous mix of beats & vox for your body. Music for sweaty dancing, floor wrecking and/or chin-stroking.

Bio

Meljoann is a hyperjack producer from Ireland. Her sound pits soulful vocals against spiky lyrics; lush synths against industrial noise.

She's a member of the Spirit of Gravity experimental music collective in Brighton, and founded their decentralized streaming space at gravitons.

In the US, her tracks have been championed by Pitchfork, Beats Per Minute, XLR8 and KEXP radio. Since moving to Brighton, UK she’s been supported by Gemma Bradley at BBC, Dummy Mag, HMUK and the Arts Council of England. Irish endorsement includes Dan Hegarty, Cian Ó Cíobháin and Tara Stewart at RTÉ radio, Irish Times, Nialler9, and Hot Press.

Meljoann has played support for artists such as Ghostpoet, Telepathe and Mu-ziq as well as headliners at venues like New River Studios & The Glove That Fits in London, The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow, and Madame Claude's in Berlin.

Recently, they've had pieces and remixes commissioned by Outlands Network, NYC hyperpop artist Madge, and Irish artist Winter Aid.
